Joey brings 15+ years of experience designing brands, digital experiences and activations for global leaders and innovative challenger-brands.

Joey has led creative initiatives for over 200+ brands: Companies such as PepsiCo, NFL, Starbucks, Danone, Nestle, Stolichnaya, Love Beets, Lokai, Del Monte, Gillette, Pepperidge Farm, Hershey’s and many more.

In 2020 alone, Joey’s digital branding agency, Matterful Brands, brought to market an innovative plant protein bar called Mezcla (EatMezcla.com), a premium line of non-alcoholic cocktails made from spirits distilled from tea (SpirityCocktails.com), a sustainable, eco-friendly bracelet that helps prevent deforestation and empower indigenous communities (OmaEarth.com), and several other CPG initiatives for brands like Love Beets and Saha Toum.

Prior to starting Matterful Brands, Joey spent 10 years running New York based agency, Pollen Brands. Prior to Pollen, Joey held premier design roles at featured New York agencies such as Sterling Brands, Anthem Worldwide, and Canopy.

Joey is currently an investor/partner in several CPG companies he’s designed for and also an adjunct professor at the fashion institute of technology; where he continues to educate and inspire the next generation of branding and CPG designers.
