What is the PRINTING United Digital Experience?

The PRINTING United Digital Experience is a powerful online event that spans 3 weeks from October 26 – November 12 providing the industry with powerful education, global product launches, new technology demonstrations, an array of technical resources and an exhibitor product showcase. A new series will kick-off each day, highlighting a different community focus spanning: Apparel, Commercial, Packaging, Digital Textile, Graphics/Wide-Format, In-Plant, Industrial, Mailing/Fulfillment, and Workflow and Software. The Digital Experience takes the place of the 2020 in-person PRINTING United Expo that was originally scheduled to take place in Atlanta.

What is the schedule for the PRINTING United Digital Experience?

Each day will focus on a different market segment, as follows:

Graphics/Wide-Format – Hardware and Consumables
Apparel – Screen/Decorating
Commercial – Digital Inkjet
Packaging – Label and Flexible
Graphics/Wide-Format – Finishing and Workflow
In-Plant Forum
Commercial – Offset
Packaging – Folding Carton and Corrugated
Mailing and Fulfillment
Workflow and Software – All Segments
Apparel – Direct-to-Garment/Direct-to-Substrate
Commercial – Dry and Liquid Toner
Industrial
Digital Textile

 

Additionally, attendees have the ability to add each content segment on the feature “Add to Calendar” on digital.printingunited.com. Attendees can join the programming live or opt to watch past session on-demand. Content on the platform will be available through January 31, 2021.

Will attendees receive a daily communication that provides the hourly agenda for each day?

Daily Guides will be emailed out to the full community in advance of the event. Additionally, registered attendees can download the Daily Guide from the platform. As attendees register, they will be asked which day they are interested in attending and will receive the custom guides based on their selection.

When will registration be live and how can I register?

We are planning to open registration the week of October 5, 2020. Visit digital.printingunited.com and click the “Register” button.

How much does it cost to attend the Digital Experience?

All 14 days of the event are free to attendees, but you must register to gain access to the platform.

I registered as an attendee for the in-person event, will my registration automatically transfer over to the Digital Experience or do I need to re-register?

We are using a different registration system then the live event, however, we are investing the possibility to port over the previous registrants. To be sure of your participation, it’s best to register on the new platform.

Where can I find the exhibitor list for the Digital Experience?

Visit digital.printingunited.com and click “Showcases” in the navigation.

How can I interact with exhibitors?

When you enter an exhibitor’s showroom, a “Virtual Business Card” section will show which representatives are available to chat. If the representative is not online during the time you wish to speak, an email option will be present. Note that we have suggested that exhibitors be active during show hours (10 am to 2 pm Eastern Time – October 26 through November 12). However, since the Digital Experience will be available on-demand from 3+ months, 24/7, it is always not possible to have the exhibitor staff available.

Will each person from my company need to register if they wish to participate in the Digital Experience?

Yes, each person will need to register for the event. This allows each person to participate from their personal computer or device.

How can I register for educational sessions?

Access to the educational sessions are included with registration for the Digital Experience. Once in the MapYourShow platform, you’ll have the ability to add sessions to your planner.

I have already submitted my registration online but have lost or forgotten the password I created to access my registration dashboard. Who can help me?

Please visit digital.printingunited.com and use the “Forgot Password” feature in order to reset your password and login to the Experience.

Can I access the Digital Experience on a mobile device?

Yes, the Digital Experience platform can be accessed on a mobile device.

I finished watching a session and the next session did not start automatically. How do I view the next session of the day?

Sessions are scheduled to start at specific times. In some cases, a session may finish before the next one is scheduled to begin. If this happens, you can always go back to the homepage to view the complete list of sessions for the day and click the Join Session button for the Live session.

I am having trouble watching each session. Is there anything I can do to improve the experience?

Yes! First, make sure you are logged in to the platform by visiting https://digital.printingunited.com/login. On the page where video is not functioning correctly, simultaneously press the Ctrl + Shift + R keys on your keyboard. This should force the page to reload and your video experience should improve. If you continue to have trouble, please notify assist@printing.org.
